Today we donated a bicycle to a skillfull, reliable and hard working electrician who has been working for Jeyaseelan on a Sarvodaya housing project. Jeyaraj lost his bike last December and has been needing this independent mode of transportation since.

With half of the money that Jasper collected we were able to buy this second-hand catamaran. Now P. Vijayakumar is catching fish in the lagoon again. Thank you, Jasper!

In the end of September goldsmiths Sathishkumar and Yasokumar, both youth friends of Jeyaseelan's, asked him if he could help them to get goldsmith tools again through his contacts.

Since the end of July I have been volunteering on an SCI (Service Civil International) workcamp in Kalmunai, a small Tamil/Muslim town on the East coast.

Jeyaseelan, a Sri Lankan friend who I trust for 100% and who works for a local NGO called 'Sarvodaya' is helping me to find individual tsunami victims who still need help. When the tsunami hit a large part of the coasts of South-east Asia, I was staying in New Zealand. Affected by the enormous distress I left for the Tsunami Volunteer Center in Khao Lak, Thailand in February.
