Project Update 06/02/2006
* sea katamaran, nets, and tools for Gunaretnam, sponsored by Patisserie Leonard
* nets for fisherman who already got a katamaran but no nets
* keyboard for a music group whose original keyboard was lost in the tsunami. The band suports orphanage boys with the profits of their performances.
The final project will be for students of 3 primary schools in a rural area, which was not affected by the tsunami, but is very poor. The majority of the kids' parents are laborers who can't afford to buy much more than food. What the 483 kids need are shoes, socks, umbrellas (protection against sun and rain), toothbrushes and tooth paste (Jeyaseelan's aunt is a nurse; she will teach them how to brush their teeth), exercise books, pencils and erasers, etc. .
Last donations are very welcome until 20/02/2006!

Zeg jij doet echt fantastisch werk.Ik ken weinig mensen op jouw leeftijd die niet alleen een hart hebben naar anderen maar er ook zo consequent naar leven. Ik ben blij je te kennen, jij vertegenwoordigt mee de hoop in Actie.
